Bird Is The Word
I just won the Nickelodeon Parents’ Pick Best Blog Award.
Guess this means I should actually blog once in a while.
No, fo real. I miss blogging. I really do. I miss telling my stories. Sharing my wacky life with you. But mostly I miss you telling me how funny I am. How amazingly talented I am. How I deserve to be a big ol super star. How much you want to see me naked and dancing around a pole.
Too far?
There’s lots going on and lots to tell you but some I have to save until later in the week. For now let me just tell you about what’s taking up most of my brain when not taking care of the kids. It is sooooo awwwwesooome to have a manager. As in, a Hollywood talent manager. He makes dealing with Hollywood easy (easiER. Nothing is easy about dealing with Hollywood) and he makes me look good. So good that important people want to meet with me when I’m in L.A. Now the pressure’s on. I can’t just show up and sit down and say, “Here I am! Aren’t I fabulous? Hire me!” I have to brang it! I have to convince these lovely executive types that I am worthy! I am worthy! More importantly, that I have hundred dollar bills falling out of my ass.
And we’re back to images of me dancing around a pole again.
Sorry.
When not thinking about those meetings you can find me flipping the bird. Literally. I’m teaching my new bird Beaker to sit on my finger but he usually flips himself off my finger and falls to the floor. Some people stare at a tank full of fish to relax. I talk to a bird. I could say if he starts talking back we’re in trouble but that’s the whole point!
Blogging requires free time and mine is up for now, so I’ll fill you in on the rest that’s happening very soon.
